VT2, Belay Help Motorola Ring Up Success
HOUSTON – VT2 Media Design & Communications and Belay Media Solutions recently partnered to deliver a comprehensive customer loyalty program for Motorola’s iDEN division. The iDEN division manufactures cellular phone handsets, which are distributed nationwide through Nextel dealers. Facing increasing competition in the coming year, it is critical that Motorola builds loyalty among its existing Nextel customers with a portfolio of exclusive offers called Club iDEN.
The Belay team developed a communication strategy to promote Club iDEN, including print, video and new media elements, all built around a special dealer appreciation event. VT2 provided production and post-production services for the Club iDEN video, which kicked-off the event. Hosted at a premier hotel, dealers were pampered with special treats, ranging from food and drinks, to a golf clinic, massage therapy, manicures and more. Dealers also received promotional packets and information outlining the special offers and benefits available to them as members of Club iDEN.

Response from dealers at the event was positive, resulting in high Club iDEN enrollment, and making it one of the most successful product launches in the history of Motorola’s iDEN division.
