ESA Entertainment and George Foreman Select VT2 Studios
George Foreman focuses his considerable marketing clout in yet another new arena. In conjunction with ESA Entertainment, Foreman produced a “before and after” low impact video workout series centered on walking in place and simple body movements. The videos feature “before and after” testimonials from viewers using the work-out tapes in their exercise program. New York based, ESA Entertainment brought into VT2 Studios a custom set designed and shipped from Los Angeles. The set replicated an old boxing gym, complete with wood floors, brick walls, sets of free weights, and a boxing bag.
Production converged in Houston in July, with ESA Entertainment partnering with VT2 Production Manager John Garza to complete a primarily Houston based crew. The second video production took place during the last week of August, and the video series will soon be in area stores. Rather then paying to dismantle and destroy the set, VT2’s John Garza was able to organize the donation of the set to the High School Performing and Visual Arts. “The set will be the primary set HSPVA will use for this year’s play, so everybody wins!” stated Garza.
