VT2 Studios wins gold 2007 Create Awards Competition
(HOUSTON September 25, 2007) VT2 Studio’s entry, “Experience the Extraordinary” which was produced for client Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has won a GOLD AWARD in the 2007 Create Awards competition in the category of production/post-production. Only 235 awards were chosen out of the roughly 2,400 entries from around the globe. Entries were judged by more than 20 leading professionals spanning eight creative industries.
VT2 Studios (www.vt2.com) is nationally recognized with numerous awards for outstanding creativity, visual design, event production and communication solutions. VT2’s clients include advertising agencies, large corporations, associations, small businesses, professional sports teams, cable/television stations and organizations in the music/entertainment industry. VT2's custom-designed 30,000-square-foot facility is one of the largest in the southwestern United States and features a multitude of design, production, post-production and new media services all under one roof.
The winning entry, “Experience the Extraordinary”, was produced for VT2 client Meeting Professionals International (MPI) for their 2007 Professional Education Conference North America held in New Orleans, Louisiana. In September of 2005, VT2 Studios was awarded a three year production contract with MPI to produce their 2007 - 2009 Professional Education Conference-North America (PEC-NA) and World Education Congress (WEC) events.
The “Experience the Extraordinary” video was designed to enhance MPI’s Opening General Session and to drive home MPI’s key message to ‘think beyond the ordinary’. VT2 Studios utilized 2D and 3D effects as well as layering of original HD footage shot in their soundstage. A custom music score was created to enhance the visual design. The Create Awards (www.thecreateawards.com) is one of the top competitions for working creative professionals across the nation. The intense creative competition is produced by Create Communications, publishers of Create Magazine and includes 40 categories and 300 subcategories in eight major creative industries.
