Public Service Announcement "Dream Team"

"To my knowledge, this is the first time such a high caliber advertising/marketing team has produced a public service announcement series free of charge, " said KHOU-TV Marketing Director Wendy Burkeen at the PSA release press conference in December. "Most PSAs are very low-budget and produced in-house by local stations," Burkeen said.Snap - Team

The new SNAP Public Service Announcement series resulted from a great collaboration between some of Houston’s most talented and creative organizations and personalities. SNAP was chosen as the beneficiary of the PSA collaboration by Burkeen and by KHOU-TV on-air personalities, anchor Lisa Foronda and sportscaster Matt Musil.
Lou Congelio, founding partner of Stan & Lou Advertising and long-time SNAP supporter, was recruited by Burkeen to provide creative services. Congelio used his influence to secure the support of VT2 Communications the media design house who handled all production and editing.

Wholehearted commitment from the actors; Carlos Compean, Joyce Murray and Eddie Morales, who were provided by Pastiorini-Bosby and the Williams Agency, completed the PSA team roster.
Burkeen said that KHOU-TV was so happy with the completed project that they have dedicated several hundred thousand dollars of air-time over the next 12 months to run these PSAs in support of SNAP’s vision to create a world with no homeless animals.
